Privacy Policy for iOS
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This policy describes how Bokeria handles information in World Clock - TimeZone Converter for iOS (bundle com.tistory.hckim999.TimeZoneConverter) and its widgets. Features may vary by version and region. For the Android app, read the Android policy.
The app does not require a Bokeria account or request GPS/location access. Your clocks and settings are stored on your device. Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob also process usage, diagnostic, advertising, and device information as explained below.
1. Information and purposes
Clocks, settings, and widgets
The app stores selected city names, countries, time zones, list order, and display preferences in a local database and device preferences. It also stores usage counters and timestamps to control ads, review prompts, and widget migration notices. The current-location clock uses your device's configured time zone, not GPS. A selected city is not a measurement of where you are.
The app and its widgets share city and configuration data through an on-device app-group container. The older Today widget records when it was last displayed so the app can guide users to supported widgets. This shared storage is not a Bokeria cloud account or synchronization service. Device backups and transfers may include app data according to your Apple settings.
Analytics
The app enables Google Analytics for Firebase at launch to understand usage and improve the app. Analytics processes app-instance/device identifiers, app and device information, usage events, and approximate geographic information. Our app also sends an event when it detects recent use of the older Today widget, limited to once per day, and marks that installation as a legacy-widget user. This helps us understand migration needs. This event does not upload the saved city list.
Read Google's Analytics data disclosure for information about automatic collection.
Crash reporting
Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports, stack traces, app/device metadata, and installation identifiers to help diagnose failures and measure affected installations. Crash reporting can also use Analytics activity leading up to a crash.
Advertising
The app displays AdMob banner and interstitial ads. Google Mobile Ads may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers where permitted, ads viewed, interactions, and diagnostic/performance information. This supports advertising, measurement, and SDK reliability. Google's User Messaging Platform manages advertising privacy choices where applicable.
Personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads depend on your choices and Google's configuration. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing. Access to Apple's advertising identifier and tracking across other companies' apps and websites is subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency rules and your device settings. An advertising choice does not switch off all Analytics or crash reporting.
Feedback and review requests
If you send feedback using the mail composer or email us directly, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate the issue. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details. The app also uses local counters to decide when to request an App Store review; Apple handles any review you submit.
Accounts and purchases
The current iOS app has no Bokeria account registration or in-app purchase flow. Android's premium purchase and purchase-token processing do not apply to this iOS app.
2. Service providers and sharing
Google and its service providers process information for Analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. Advertising services may share data with advertising partners in accordance with their policies and the privacy choices presented to you. Apple processes information for services you use, such as backups and App Store reviews. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. Identifiers do not become anonymous simply because they do not contain your name.

Bokeria is based in South Korea. Service providers may process information in other countries under their applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
This policy is served through Firebase Hosting, which processes request information such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site. This iOS policy page contains no advertising or analytics scripts. Linked sites have their own privacy practices.
3. Your choices
- Advertising: When Google requires a privacy-options entry, the app's menu offers advertising privacy choices. Older versions call this entry “Privacy Policy”; newer versions distinguish it from the web policy. Availability depends on Google's requirements.
- Apple tracking controls: Manage tracking permissions in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking, where available. Denying tracking does not by itself stop all app analytics, contextual advertising, or crash reporting.
- Local data: Remove cities and change settings in the app. Remove widgets and delete the app to remove their local data as managed by iOS. Offloading an app keeps its documents and data; it is different from deleting it. Manage backups separately in Apple settings.
The current app enables Analytics at startup and does not have a separate Analytics or Crashlytics collection switch. Advertising choices and tracking permission are not general controls for all Firebase collection. Contact us about withdrawal of consent or processing concerns. Deleting the app stops future activity from that installation but does not automatically remove previously collected cloud data.
4. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until changed, deleted, or removed with the app and its associated storage. Backups and restoration may preserve or restore data. Apple manages backup retention under your settings.
Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve requests and related disputes or legal obligations. When no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details, subject to required retention and backup limitations.
Google's published Firebase policy describes retention of Crashlytics crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before removal begins. Analytics retention depends on the configured property and data type; see Analytics retention controls. Advertising records follow Google's applicable policies.
For access or deletion requests, email appsupport@bokeriastudio.com with “World Clock iOS privacy request” and enough information to identify the correspondence or record. We may need to verify your request. There is no Bokeria app account to delete, and an email address alone may not identify SDK-generated records. We will explain any applicable limitations. Do not send a password or full payment-card number.
5. Privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing. Other processing may be needed for requested features, maintaining and improving the service where permitted, or legal obligations.
Contact us to exercise these rights or ask about the basis for processing. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Parents or guardians concerned about a child's information can use the same contact details.
6. Security and changes
We use service providers' SDK security mechanisms for the services described above. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. We may revise this policy when the app or services change and will update the date shown above.
