Privacy Policy for Android
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This policy describes how Bokeria (BokeriaMobile) handles information in the Android app World Clock - TimeZone Widget, also known as World Clock - Time Zone Converter or TimeZone Converter (package com.bokeriastudio.timezoneconverter). Features such as ads and purchases may vary by app version, store, and region. This policy covers the Android app; it does not describe the iOS app or other Bokeria apps.
You can use the clock and conversion features without creating an app account. The app does not request GPS or Android location permission. It does use Google services for advertising, usage measurement, diagnostics, messaging, remote settings, and, where available, purchases. These services can process identifiers and technical information.
1. Information and purposes
Clock settings and data on your device
Your selected cities, clock and widget settings, display preferences, and app-use counters are stored on your device to provide the app's features. Schedule entries, where that feature is available, are stored in a local database. The “current location” clock uses your device's configured time zone, not GPS. Choosing a city does not establish your physical location.
Android backup or device transfer may include local app data, depending on your device and backup settings. This is separate from an account or synchronization service operated by Bokeria. Some usage information about these features is sent to Analytics as described below.
Usage measurement
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature use and improve the app. Our app records events for adding a city (including its time-zone entry ID), changing the displayed time, creating widgets, viewing or interacting with ads, and viewing, purchasing, or restoring premium features. Event details can include the originating screen, widget type, product ID, purchase outcome, and error reason. These events are not a copy of your entire saved city list or schedule database.
Analytics also processes app-instance identifiers, device and app information, interactions, and approximate geographic information. See Google's Analytics data disclosure.
Advertising and consent
Google AdMob provides banner and interstitial ads. Its SDK may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), advertising and other identifiers, interactions, and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Google's User Messaging Platform handles advertising privacy choices where applicable. Personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads depend on those choices and Google's configuration; non-personalized ads do not necessarily mean no data processing.
Diagnostics and remote services
Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and non-fatal error reports, device/app metadata, and installation identifiers to help fix failures. Firebase Performance Monitoring measures startup, rendering, and network performance and processes technical metadata, IP addresses, and installation identifiers.
Firebase Remote Config uses installation identifiers and information such as app/OS version, language, country, and time zone to deliver feature settings. Firebase Cloud Messaging and In-App Messaging use installation identifiers and message-related information to support delivery and measure interactions when messages are used.
An optional hidden access-code feature downloads a list of hashes from Cloud Firestore and compares your input on the device. The current app does not upload the entered code or its hash through that feature.
Purchases
Where purchases are available, Google Play Billing processes payment. The app receives purchase information, including product identifiers, purchase state, and a purchase token, to acknowledge purchases and restore access. It caches the premium entitlement, last purchase token, and synchronization time on the device. Bokeria does not receive your full payment-card details through the app. Purchase and restore events are also measured as described above. Google handles its own transaction records under its policies.
Support messages
If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the message, attachments, or diagnostic details you send. We use these to answer your request and investigate issues. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, or other information that is not needed for support.
2. Service providers and sharing
Google and its service providers process information for the services described above. Advertising services may share data with advertising partners in accordance with the choices presented to you and their policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. We do not describe SDK identifiers or IP addresses as anonymous simply because they do not include your name.

Bokeria is based in South Korea. Google services may process information in other countries. Applicable protections and transfer arrangements are described in the providers' privacy and data-processing terms.
This policy page is served through Firebase Hosting, which processes request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The Android policy page itself contains no advertising or analytics scripts. Other linked websites have their own privacy practices.
3. Your choices
- Advertising choices: Where Google requires a privacy-options entry, use the advertising privacy menu in the app to revisit the available choices. Older versions label this menu “Privacy Policy.” Its availability depends on Google's regional requirements.
- Device advertising controls: Android provides controls to reset or delete the advertising ID, depending on the OS version. These controls do not disable all diagnostics or service communications.
- Premium: An active ad-free entitlement stops the app's ads. It does not turn off Firebase Analytics, diagnostics, messaging, or remote settings.
- Notifications: You can control notification display in Android settings. Turning off notifications does not itself disable Firebase installation or messaging registration.
- Local data and backups: You can remove saved cities and change preferences in the app, clear app storage in Android settings, and manage Android backups in your device or Google account settings.
The current app does not provide a separate switch for Analytics or diagnostic collection. Advertising consent choices are not a general opt-out from all Firebase services. To ask about processing, withdrawal of consent, or deletion, contact us below. Uninstalling stops future activity from that installation but does not automatically erase information already held by service providers.
4. Retention and deletion
Local preferences, widget data, and cached purchase state remain until replaced, cleared, or removed with app storage. Restoring an Android backup may restore some of this data. Clearing local data does not delete Google Play purchase records; an eligible purchase can be restored through Google Play.
We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request and any related disputes or legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details, subject to required retention and backup limitations.
Cloud data follows the relevant service's retention settings and rules. Google's published Firebase policy describes a 90-day retention period for Crashlytics crash traces and associated identifiers before removal begins. Performance Monitoring retains IP-associated events for 30 days and installation-associated or de-identified performance data for 60 days before removal begins. Messaging and Remote Config installation identifiers can remain until deletion is requested; removal from live and backup systems can then take up to 180 days. Analytics retention depends on the configured property settings and data type; see Analytics retention controls. Advertising and payment records follow Google's applicable policies.
To request deletion of information we hold, email appsupport@bokeriastudio.com with “World Clock Android privacy request” and enough information to identify the relevant correspondence or record. We may need additional information to verify the request. There is no Bokeria app account to delete, and we may not be able to associate an SDK-generated identifier with you based only on an email address. We will explain applicable limitations; do not send a password or full payment-card number.
5. Privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising-related uses. Where processing relies on consent, withdrawing it does not affect prior lawful processing. Other processing may be needed to provide requested features, maintain and improve the service where permitted, or meet legal obligations.
Contact us to exercise these rights or ask about the basis for processing your information. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Parents or guardians with concerns about a child's information can use the same contact details.
6. Security and policy changes
Google documents encryption in transit for data sent by its Firebase and Mobile Ads SDKs. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the app or its services change and will update the date on this page.
